NBYC has an active sailing program for adults of all skill levels and vessels of all sizes. Our most seasoned sailors race weekly in the BBYRA series as well as numerous local, regional and national regattas.  The majority of our adults participate in our weekly Sunday Series which is a casual gathering intended to foster camaraderie and sharpen the skills of all sailors.  Sunday participants have the opportunity to test their skills against members from Lavalette and Shore Acres in the annual Mid Bay Championships.  In 2023 NBYC will hosts its the Sunfish Mid Atlantic Championships.  Lastly, the NBYC proudly hosts one of the longest standing regattas for the Sanderling fleet in the country each Summer.

We encourage all adults to get our on the water, either as skipper or crew.  Our fleet presently consists of Sandpipers, Sanderlings and a wide variety of Auxilliary boats. Participation is open to all members of NBYC including our popular Sailing membership.
